Doh Tell Me Dat Done!

DOH TELL ME DAT - FLIPO

One of the best yet under played songs for the 2014 Soca season, has to be the infectious 'Doh Tell Me Dat' by Flipo. For those of you who went to Trinidad Carnival, I am sure this brings back some good memories - we know it does for us. Take a listen.

How Yuh Bad So?

Kerwin Du Bois

From the collaborative efforts 'I Am Soca' with Patrice Roberts and 'Possessed' with Machel Montano, to individual hits such as 'Runaway' and 'Bacchanalist', Kerwin DuBois has undoubtedly been one of the most consistent artists in soca music over the past couple of years. 2014 is gearing up to be another great year for this groovy soca master, as his infectious tunes take hold and the spirit of the Carnival season approaches climax.

Here is one of our favourite songs for Trinidad Carnival 2014.

Foreday Morning Changes for 2014

As was speculated last year, the NCF has confirmed that Foreday Morning 2014 will be moved from Friday night to Saturday night and to an earlier start time, in an apparent attempt to overcome some of the challenges facing the event. We will therefore be hitting the road this year on Saturday, August 2 into the morning of Sunday, August 3.

The Mix Nutz team hopes that this change will go some way towards improving the overall operation of the event, for the enjoyment of all revelers.

Check out the NCF's Crop Over Calendar below for more details on all of the official events for the festival season.
